In order to promote the World Young Scientist Summit (WYSS) from government-led to government-guided and socialized organization, realize the sustainable development of WYSS and facilitate the implementation of WYSS Awards and the World Federation for Young Scientists, the Executive Committee Office of WYSS actively planned and promoted the establishment of Wenzhou World Young Scientist Growth Foundation (hereinafter referred to as “the Foundation”), and completed the registration on October 20, 2021.

Wenzhou Growth Foundation for World Young Scientist (WGFWYS) is a non-public foundation. 

The purpose of the foundation is as follows: The Wenzhou World Young Scientists Growth Foundation is a non-profit and public welfare foundation. It aim to abide by the constitution, laws, regulations, and national policies, adhere to social ethics, uphold the core values of socialism, actively gather scientific and technological forces from various parties, promote international scientific, technological, and humanistic exchanges, and encourage youth innovation cooperation. It aims to become a link between young scientists in China and around the world, with the goal of advancing the construction of a community with a shared future for humanity and jointly creating a better future.

Scope of business:

1. Carry out the selection of scientific awards;

2. Support the preparation and operation of the World Federation for Young Scientists;

3. Support the holding of the World Young Scientist Summit;

4. Provide funds for academic exchanges, personnel training, publication of scientific and technological periodicals and international scientific and technological exchange activities;

5. Increase the value of the funds within the scope permitted by national policies and laws;

6. Carry out various funding activities in line with the purpose of the Foundation.
