Introduction

Building on the success of the WYSS 2022 European Event held in Brussels, the WYSS 2023 European Event delivered an engaging and inspirational gathering. It featured a rich array of activities, including keynote speeches, plenary sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations, and project roadshows, all centered around the theme of "Innovation and Cooperation for Progress Toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)."

The WYSS 2023 European Event hosted four parallel sessions, each dedicated to critical topics, such as "The role of University in Innovation Ecosystems," "Youth Innovation Showcase," "Empowering Women at the Vanguard of Innovation," and "Emerging Trends of Science and Technology."

More than 60 esteemed individuals, ranging from professors, experts, scholars, and young students to entrepreneurs, representing 20 countries and regions worldwide, graced the stages at both the main venue and sub-venues during the WYSS 2023 European Special Event. In addition, we were delighted to have over 180 attendees join us in person. Furthermore, five organizations enthusiastically entered into global partnerships with WYSS and ACEIE during the event.

With the dedicated efforts of organizers, co-organizers, and participants, we hold a strong belief that this event will bring us closer together, establish trust, and pave the way for collaborative actions towards a better world.
