Banyan Tree HUB

The Banyan tree, designated as the city tree of Wenzhou, is recognized for its wide canopy with umbrella-like leaves and aerial roots that resemble hanging vines. This tree carries the symbolic meaning of benevolence and openness due to its generous shade. In recent years, Wenzhou has been actively cultivating a talent-friendly city environment, striving to gather and cater to talents from around the world, mirroring the spirit of the Banyan tree. The "Banyan tree hub" initiative, spearheaded by the WYSS Wenzhou Executive Committee Office, aims to leverage the WYSS platform for practical actions in terms of facilities, policy support, resource assurance, and exchange visits. Similar to how the canopy of a banyan tree provides all-round services for top talents and the vines of a banyan tree expand to create the ideal innovation ecosystem for top talents, the objective is to establish Wenzhou as a model for talent service.
