I. Topics for Submission
This call for papers is organized around the annual topic of the 2025 World Young Scientist Summit: "Embracing Change: Young Scientists Shaping the Future Together." It calls for the latest research findings and innovative ideas in key development areas of future frontier technologies, growth and development of young scientists, and in-depth integration of scientific and technological innovation & industrial innovation. To ensure the targeted approach and professionalism of the paper solicitation, the following disciplines have been selected as the main directions for this year’s submission:
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Research in deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and related areas.
Quantum Information Technology and Quantum Computing: Explorations in quantum communication, quantum computing theory, quantum algorithms, quantum hardware, and more.
Future Manufacturing and Intelligent Manufacturing: Focus on intelligent manufacturing technologies, robotics, additive manufacturing, nanomanufacturing, and other cutting-edge fields.
Biotechnology and Comprehensive Health: Studies and applications in gene editing, brain-computer interfaces, cell growth, precision medicine, bioinformatics, and related areas.
Sustainable Energy and Environmental Science: Research in clean energy technologies, environmental pollution control, ecological restoration, and more.
Materials Science and Nanotechnology: Investigations into the development of new materials, preparation and application of nanomaterials, optimization of material performance, and related fields.
II. Submission Formats
1. Full Papers: Original research papers in the relevant fields that have not been published in any domestic or international academic journals are welcome. Upon acceptance, the corresponding author or the first author will be granted a registration fee waiver to participate in the Summit and will be invited to deliver oral or keynote presentations at relevant forums or activities. Outstanding papers will be recommended for publication in partner journals in the corresponding fields after further review and will be awarded an honorary certificate at the closing ceremony of the Summit.
2. Abstracts: Scholars who are interested in academic exchange are welcome to submit research abstracts. Accepted abstracts may be invited for presentation at relevant forums or activities of the Summit.
3. Posters: Poster submissions are welcome (specifications: 90 cm [W] × 120 cm [H]). Upon acceptance, the posters will be uniformly produced by the organizers and displayed in the exhibition area of the Summit. “Outstanding Posters” will be selected and awarded honorary certificates at the closing ceremony.
III. Submission Deadline: October 10, 2025
To further enhance the academic influence of the World Young Scientist Summit and provide a broader international platform for showcasing outstanding research achievements, the Summit has established partnerships with several academic journals to launch partner journals or WYSS Special Issues. Experts and scholars are encouraged to submit their work to these partner journals. For papers officially accepted by the partner journals, the corresponding author or first author will receive a registration fee waiver to attend the Summit, be invited to deliver an invited talk or oral presentation in the sub-forums, and participate in various exhibition and exchange activities organized during the Summit.
Launched in 2018, Nanomanufacturing and Metrology (NMME) is the exclusive official journal of the International Society for Nanomanufacturing (ISNM). The journal follows the principle of open access: authors pay no article processing charges (APCs), and readers enjoy free access to all content. It is indexed in major databases including ESCI, EI Compendex, Scopus, and INSPEC. Under the leadership of Professor Fang Fengzhou as Editor-in-Chief and Professor Gao Wei (President of ISNM) as Executive Editor-in-Chief, NMME covers high-precision manufacturing and metrology at micro-, nano-, and atomic scales, exploring interdisciplinary directions in physics, chemistry, materials science, tool technology, and process engineering. It focuses on breakthrough innovations and applications aligned with the "Third-generation Manufacturing Paradigm," aiming to advance atomic-scale precision manufacturing and next-generation advanced manufacturing technologies.

Since its inception in 2019, International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing (IJEM) has been devoted to disseminating high-quality cutting-edge research in the field of extreme manufacturing. It is indexed in over 20 international databases, including SCIE, EI, and Scopus. With its latest JCR Impact Factor of 21.3, the journal has ranked first in the engineering/manufacturing category for three consecutive years. Carbon Energy, co-founded by Wenzhou University and Wiley, focuses on clean energy, photoelectrocatalysis, novel carbon manufacturing, and carbon emission reduction. The journal aims to become a premier platform for showcasing outstanding scientific research achievements both in China and abroad, a driver of major national scientific strategies, and a trusted resource for researchers worldwide.
