The Ouhai Olympic Sports Center, a major provincial-level facility developed for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, serves as a large-scale integrated sports park to meet diverse needs including competitive sports events, public fitness programs, cultural entertainment, tourism and leisure activities, as well as business exhibitions. It covers a total land area of 157,724 square meters (236.6 mu) with a total construction area of about 172,000 square meters. The Center features a 10,000-seat stadium (26,700 sqm), 8,000-seat gymnasium (20,600 sqm), 500-seat swimming pool (26,500 sqm), supporting sports facilities (14,700 sqm), underground space (74,300 sqm), along with comprehensive landscaping and ancillary infrastructure. It has hosted major international academic conferences and events including the World Young Scientists Summit 2023, 2023 China New Materials Industry Development Conference, Vision China 2024, and the main session of the 2023 World Wenzhounese Conference.
