Complex System Modeling and Simulation

Complex System Modeling and Simulation, founded in 2021, is hosted by Tsinghua University and published by Tsinghua University Press Co., Ltd. The editor-in-chief is Professor Fan Wenhui from Tsinghua University, and the executive editor-in-chief is Professor Wang Ling from Tsinghua University. The journal is dedicated to publishing innovative and significant research achievements in the fields of complex system modeling, simulation, optimization, and control. It is indexed by ESCI, Ei Compendex, Scopus, DOAJ, INSPEC, and the Directory of China Science and Technology Core Journals in China. It has been selected as a T1-level journal in the High-Quality Sci-Tech Journal Directory in the Field of Simulation Science and Technology by the China Simulation Federation and as a "2025 Excellent Academic Journal with International Influence in China" (Natural Science and Engineering Technology · English). In addition, it has been selected for the High-Starting-Point New Journal Program under the "Excellence Action Plan for China's STM Journals," the "Tsinghua University World-Class Sci-Tech Journal Cluster Development Plan" project, and the "2025 Capital Sci-Tech Journal Excellence Action Plan for Chinese and English Single Journals."
