Slovakia, the Detroit in Europe and the largest automobile manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe, boasts many innovation-oriented enterprises. China and Slovakia have established diplomatic relations for a long time and have cooperated a lot in science and technology. As Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia to China, Du?an Bella has interpreted the meaning of life as a ‘practitioner’ of science and diplomacy with his wonderful cross-over experience, from a scientist to a diplomat and from Europe to Asia.
