Traditional Chinese medicine is an important health, cultural and economic resource in China. The unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the fight against the outbreak of COVID-19, have further built the social consensus on the inheritance, innovation and development of traditional Chinese medicine, so that the society has new expectations for the development of it. Through the meetings, we hope to focus on the hot topics and key scientific issues of traditional Chinese medicine, and jointly explore how to grasp the strategic key points of modernization and internationalization, to achieve innovative, leaping, and symbolic development of traditional Chinese medicine. 2021 Technical and Scientific Forum on Traditional Chinese Medicine is planned to be held during the 3rd World Young Scientist Summit.

01. Thematic Roundtable Forum
               It will focus on how to innovate and develop traditional Chinese medicine theories, how to improve the core competitiveness of traditional Chinese medicine-innovative methods and techniques for clinical efficacy evaluation, and what the key biological mechanisms of traditional non-drug therapies are, these three hot-spots which are key scientific issues in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. Also, it will explore how to systematically interpret the scientific connotation of traditional Chinese medicine in the context of contemporary science, to deeply explore its clinical value and scientific research ideas and methods that meet the characteristics of Chinese medicine, and to break down various barriers to put forward suggestions and plans to promote the modernization and international development of Chinese medicine. The forum is a round table meeting without rostrum, and 25-30 special guests will each have 5 minutes of speaking time and full time for discussion exchanging opinions after.

02. Academic reports
All academic reports focus on the frontier developments in the field of Chinese medicine at home and abroad, how to enhance the international influence of traditional Chinese medicine, and how to give full play to the advantages of interdisciplinary to help the development of Chinese medicine. We adopt a hybrid online and offline model, and invite authoritative experts in the field at home and abroad to conduct academic reports to expand new horizons and inspire new ideas for the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine.

03. Schedules            

The forum includes keynote lectures of the main venue, oral presentations of the branch venue and posters. Participants who are chosen to make oral presentations (15 minutes including Q&A time) shall send their PowerPoint presentations to the forum organizing committee three days before the conference.
