Building A Bridge Between Science and Industry

Time: China-U.S. Physics Examination and Application (CUSPEA)
October 18—19, 2020 is the "China-U.S. joint training program for postgraduate

Innovation & Entrepreneurship students in physics" co-established by Chinese Academy
Xintiandi Conference Center, of Sciences and more than 100 top universities in China and
Longwan District, Wenzhou the United States. The program was initiated in 1980s by Mr.
Tsung-Dao Lee, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics and
Galileo Galilei Medal, in cooperation with the Chinese physics
community. It's the exam for selecting Chinese students to the
United States for postgraduate education in physics between
1979 and 1989.

The CUSPEA Symposium & the Inaugural Ceremony
of CUSPEA Institute of Technology were attended by
Academician Zhonglin Wang, Chief Scientist and President of
CUSPEA Institute of Technology, Academician Xincheng Xie,
Deputy Director of the National Natural Science Foundation
of China, Academician Chao Tang, Dean of Academy for
Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies of Peking University,
Academician Haiqing Lin, Director of Beijing Computational
Science Research Center, Academician Jiangfeng Du, Vice
President of the University of Science and Technology of
China, Academician Jun Chen, Vice President of Nankai
University, Academician Zizhao Gan, Professor of Peking
University, Academician Qingming Luo, President of Hainan
University, Academician Dongyuan Zhao, member of the
Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Head of
United Front Work Department of Fudan University.
