In his report, Dr. Robert Zubrin mentioned how to get humans
to Mars in ten years. The report included the rocket launch plan
for landing on Mars, the possible risks for the astronauts on
Mars and the main work of the astronauts on Mars. Taking a
Mars exploration base as an example, Robert Zubrin described
that a special shelter would be set up in the base in case of
solar flares. Solar flares have a relatively intensive activity
once a year, lasting for 3 or 4 hours. This will produce strong
radiation that may endanger the lives of astronauts, but can
be shielded by 10CM of water. The shelter area of the base is
a 10CM-thick water wall, in which some food and water are
prepared, so that astronauts can shelter inside.

At the meeting, Dr. Robert Zubrin also had an exchange and
interaction with the teachers and students of Wenzhou Foreign
Language School, and gave detailed answers to the questions
raised by all of them.
