The Group Sharing session is of three parts: Science Night, Science Market, and Science Talk Science Night and Science Market gathers the most interesting research and science achievements from around the world to showcase the vitality of popular science in China. Science Talk invites talented individuals from around the world to envision technology paving the way for a community with a common destiny and talk about science and dreams.

Science Night

Science Night (Pineapple Science Award Ceremony) will interpret science from an alternative, humorous perspective. The ceremony will take place on the night of October 26 at Wenzhou Science and Technology Museum. The Pineapple Science Awards was established to “nod at curiosity”, currently its categories include the Physics Award, Chemistry Award, Mathematics Award, Psychology Award, and Medical Biology Award. Each year, awards are given to 8-10 scientific research achievement or event that are peculiar, imaginative and thought-provoking, with a dissertation or abstract published in a formal academic journal or presented at an academic conference. Aside from announcing the winners and presenting their awards, the ceremony will also feature ‘science themed’ song-and-dance numbers, magic, and fun, interactive segments. It is sure to be a crowd-pleasing night beloved by both the public and the scientific community.

Science Market

The Science Market is one of two major parts that make up the Pineapple Science Award. This year's theme is 'History Exhibition in 9102'. The exhibition will feature displays, artifacts, and immersive experiences that walk participants through how humans in year 9102 might look at the standards of science and life in the 21st century. The market will also bring together a number of exhibitors from industries such as cultural and creative, museum, and technology selling '21st century artifacts (exhibited products)' and '21st century food'. The two-day event is sure to give Wenzhou citizens a unique experience.

Science Talk

Science talk is a series of science exchange for participant to 'talk to Nobel laureates and scientists'. The goal is to provide a platform for the public to get a closer look and experience the fun and excitement of science. The event consists of two sections, science talks and science promotion. Four science promotion events will engage the local communities, and a large science exchange will be held in Wenzhou University. It is planned to invite a number of Nobel laureates and young scientists to visit Wenzhou University, Wenzhou Medical University, Wenzhou-Kean University, Wenzhou Vocational & Technical College, and Wenzhou High School to give talks for local students and members of the public.
