Youth Innovation: Fostering New Quality Productive Forces

The World Young Scientist Summit 2024 will earnestly implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter to the WYSS 2019, focusing on the theme of “Converging the World’s Talents, Creating a Better Future”. The Summit will be aligned with the United Nations’ Goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the annual topic of “Youth Innovation: Fostering New Quality Productive Forces”, addressing cross-disciplinary issues in future technology, common challenges in youth development, topics on open cooperation, hot topics in science and humanities. The Summit will empower young scientists to play leading roles, promote cooperation between young scientists, and between scientists and entrepreneurs from various countries for mutual benefits, thereby enabling more young talents in science and technology to showcase their aspirations and realize their dreams. By driving economic and social progress through scientific and technological advancements, it seeks to co-create a prosperous future for humanity.

Paper Submission
To foster academic exchange, create a platform for the collision of ideas and collaboration, and provide opportunities for young scientists to showcase their research results through WYSS or publish papers in WYSS proceedings and professional journals, WYSS will join hands with several journals to launch “WYSS Special Issues” to attract more participants. Papers submitted to WYSS Special Issues will enjoy priority review through a fast-track process. Accepted authors will be granted complimentary registration to WYSS, invited to give oral or keynote presentations, and given the opportunity to participate in various display and exchange activities of WYSS.
Venue and Accommodation

Ouhai Olympic Sports Center in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province serves as the main venue of WYSS 2024. As a major provincial supporting project for the 19th Asian Games in 2022, Ouhai Olympic Sports Center integrates various functions, including competitive sports, mass fitness, cultural entertainment, tourism and leisure, and business exhibitions. It covers a total land area of 157,724 square meters (236.6 mu) and has a total construction area of approximately 172,000 square meters.

A selection of hotels near the venue has been made available for delegates to book independently based on their needs. Accommodations for special guests will be arranged by the organizing committee of WYSS.
