PINEAPPLE SCIENCE AWARD

Time: On October 18, 2020, the 2020 Pineapple Science Award
20:30—22:30 October 18, 2020 Ceremony was held at the Student Activity Center, Wenzhou
Venue:
Student Activity Center, Medical University. The award was designed to commend
Wenzhou Medical University interesting scientific research and arouse people's curiosity and
enthusiasm for science. Those seemingly nonsensical topics
are actually supported by serious scientific theories.

Pineapple Science Award is a science award co-established by
Zhejiang Science and Technology Museum and GUOKR.COM
under the strong support of Zhejiang Association for Science
and Technology and Wenzhou Municipal People's Government,
aiming to extensively collect, reward and disseminate
imaginative scientific research results and events in the name of
"Admiring Curiosity". Established in 2012, the Pineapple Science
Award is called China's "Funny Nobel". Its slogan is "Admiring
Science", rewarding those imaginative and interesting scientific
research results to arouse the public's curiosity and enthusiasm
for science. "Funny yet serious" is the biggest characteristic of
the award. Just due to its "nonsensical" entertainment element,
Pineapple Science Award has left an indelible impression to
people.
