对于科学来说，无用与有用不是唯一的衡量标准，永远保持对事物的好奇和兴趣，才是尤其重要的。菠萝科学奖、另
类诺贝尔奖的存在，可以吸引更多人从兴趣出发，对科学或者说对这个世界保持一颗好奇心。让科学更好地走进
大众，需要这种科学精神的培养。

科学之夜现场还进行了精彩丰富的文艺演出，表演者们引吭高歌，翩翩起舞，乐器演奏等将现场的气氛推向高潮。

《伽利略的信》从第一届菠萝科学奖朗读过之后，便有了一个不成文的传统，这封信成了我们每一届菠萝科学奖
的结束辞。每一次听到这封信都会有些新的感悟，有关科学，也有关每一位还在科学领域耕耘的大家。在 2020
菠萝科学奖颁奖晚会的最后，大家又一同朗读一遍这封《伽利略的信》。

Speaking of science, usefulness is not the only measurement and what's especially important is to be
always curious and interested in things. The Pineapple Science Award, existing as an alternative "Nobel
Prize", can attract the interests of more people and let them stay curious about science or the world. To
make science more accessible to the public, we need to cultivate such spirit of science.

At the Night of Science, there was also a wonderful art show. The performers sang, danced and played
musical instruments, pushing the atmosphere to the climax.

From being read at the first Pineapple Science Award, "Galileo's Letter" has become the closing speech
of each session of the Pineapple Science Award, and reading the letter has become an unwritten
tradition. Every time hearing the letter, there would be some new thoughts about science and about
everyone who is still working hard in the science world. At the end of the 2020 Pineapple Science Award
Ceremony, all the participants read the "Galileo's Letter" again.
