科学大使第三场活动 生命 -- 大脑与人工智能
以“生命 - 大脑与人工智能”为主题的世界青年科学家峰会科学大使系列活动第三场现场吸引了来自在温
医大的师生等共计 550 余人参加,还有上千余人通过互联网观看了活动直播。
本次活动邀请了来自美国密歇根大学的神经科学博士蒂姆 • 马祖洛(Timothy Marzullo)主讲,以线上
线下结合、互联网视频直播的形式,与广大青少年和公众共同讨论在人工智能快速发展的当下。
蒂姆 • 马祖洛博士在报告中列举了三种类型的生命,生命的神经元、肌肉等需要电来驱动。他为观众讲述
了神经科学的起源与发展,并通过实验展示了手臂、心肌信号和大脑神经信号中的电流,解释了神经连接
基于这些信号进行工作的原理。在实验中,Tim 通过“肌肉信号放大器”,成功地把自己手臂肌肉收缩的
电信号传递给演示机器手,让机器人做出举起手臂的动作。他还介绍了幻灯片中的实验,用外界的音频来
控制蟑螂腿,在音乐释放出的电信号控制下,蟑螂腿能够跟随现场音频的节奏舞动。
报告中,蒂姆 • 马祖洛博士与温州医科大学的师生进行了交流互动,对中国师生提出的问题作了细致的了
解答。
The third activity of science AmbassadorLife brain and
artificial intelligence
More than 550 people including teachers and students from Wenzhou Medical University
participated in the third series of activities of science ambassadors of the world young scientists
summit with the theme of "life brain and artificial intelligence", and more than 1000 people
watched the live broadcast of the activities through the Internet.
Timothy marzullo, a doctor of neuroscience from the University of Michigan, was invited to give
a lecture in this activity. In the form of online and offline combination and live Internet video, he
discussed with the majority of teenagers and the public on the rapid development of artificial
intelligence.
Dr. Tim mazullo listed three types of life in his report. Neurons and muscles of life need electricity
to drive them. He told the audience about the origin and development of neuroscience,
demonstrated the current in arm, myocardial signal and brain nerve signal through experiments,
and explained the principle of neural connection based on these signals. In the experiment, Tim
successfully transmits the electrical signal of his arm muscle contraction to the demonstration
robot hand through the "muscle signal amplifier", so that the robot can make the action of lifting
the arm. He also introduced the experiment in the slide, using the external audio to control the
