Creating A Global Community of Shared Education

Time: The Sino-Foreign University Presidents Roundtable brought
19:00—21:40 October 17, 2020 together nearly 300 participants, including 22 presidents
Venue:
Wenzhou Shangri-La Hotel of famous universities such as American and Australian
universities, Jilin University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University,
Nanjing University and Zhejiang University, 6 academicians,
experts, scholars and young teacher representatives. They
talked about the growth and future development of youths with
the focus on some hot topics such as the future development of
higher education.

During the keynote presentation session, Ken Sloan, Vice
President of Monash University, Australia, Xi Zhang, President
of Jilin University and Academician of CAS, Howard Purcell,
President of New England College of Optometry and Xiaokun
Li, Academician and President of Wenzhou Medical University
respectively delivered their keynote speech and expressed their
views on the internationalization, integrated development and
characteristic development of higher education in the future.
