2021 WE FORUM——WESTLAKE
INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IN ENGINEERING (WISE)

Jing Feng, deputy secretary and head of Gongshu District, Hangzhou, attended
the opening ceremony and gave a welcome speech. More than 80 domestic and
foreign renowned experts and scholars attended the conference, including professor
Xiaogang Peng, a leading expert in quantum dots from Zhejiang University, professor
Yidong Huang, deputy director of Academic Committee of Tsinghua University, Ningyi
Zhou, head of Department of Microbiological Science, School of Life Sciences and
Biotechnology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and professor Guang Pan, dean of
School of Marine Science and Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University.
The experts and scholars conduct academic presentations and seminars to sort
out the progress in cutting-edge technologies and advanced concepts in the field
of engineering in a variety of conference formats. The event featured more than 100
academic posters. There are 93 invited experts from 5 countries as well as more than
500 participants met online and offline to engage in extensive and in-depth academic
discussions.
