In the round-table forum, Dr. Zhou Tan, a young teacher from
the School of Life Science of Hangzhou Normal University,
was the moderator; Professor Shijin Wu, vice-president of the
College of Biological Engineering of Zhejiang University of
Technology, professor Jingyan Ge from the Biopharmaceuticals
and Biomaterials Institute of the College of Biological
Engineering of Zhejiang University of Technology; professor
Ming Zhang, chairman of Hangzhou HUABIO and former vice
president of the College of Life Sciences of Zhejiang University;
Wei Cai, chairman of Leiyu Capital and a famous investor;
and professor Qingjun Liu, vice president of the College of
Biomedical Engineering & Instrument Science of Zhejiang
University, were the guests for a lively discussion on the theme.

Experts, scholars and representatives of enterprises, taking
into account the industry realities, actively offered suggestions
and proposals for the industry development, accelerated
the construction of life science sectors, and provided new
ideas and new technologies for shaping the life science into a
discipline with worldwide influence.
