On October 20-21, 2021 Yangtze River Delta Integrated
County Area Water Management and Enriching River and Lake
Innovative Development Forum was held in Wenzhou. Two
academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zuxin Xu and
Hao Wang, and irrigationists from the Taihu Basin Authority of
the Ministry of Water Resources, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu
and Anhui provinces and other Yangtze River Delta regions
gathered together to explore and share water conservancy
experience, and discuss effective ways of water conservancy
concept innovations and mechanism innovations in the
Yangtze River Delta region at the new development stage, thus
promoting the more symbolic achievements in integrated water
governance of the Yangtze River Delta regions.

With the theme of "innovation and smart governance, high-
quality promotion of county-level water governance", the forum
focused on the integrated county-level water governance in
the Yangtze River Delta and the construction of Happy Rivers
and Lakes. The forum was held in both online and offline
synchronous form, such as keynote speeches, online reports,
typical exchanges, site surveys and thematic argumentation.
