WENZHOU UNIVERSITY SATELLITE ACTIVITIES

INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON INTELLIGENT CIVIL
ENGINEERING AND FUTURE CITIES

The International Forum on Intelligent Civil Engineering and Future Cities was successfully held at Wenzhou University from
November 26-28. The forum was directed by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and the People's Government
of Zhejiang Province, sponsored by Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology and the People's Government of Wenzhou,
undertaken hosted by Wenzhou University and Zhejiang University of Technology, and held by the College of Architecture and
Civil Engineering of Wenzhou University. With the theme of "Promoting Intelligent Civil Engineering and Building a Smart Future
City", the forum aimed to bring together experts at home and abroad for exchange, discussion and brainstorming in terms of a
comprehensive and three-dimensional future city network.

This forum had one main venue and four parallel sessions. The venue was packed with big shots. Five academician of Chinese
Academy of Engineering, including Yanliang Du, Xianqi Xie, Shucai Li, Xiuli Du and Hehua Zhu, 13 well-known overseas scholars,
national outstanding youths and Changjiang Scholars, and 40 talents from the Four Youths Project attended the meeting that
attracted 200 teachers and students from Wenzhou University to come to the venue and jointly perceive the vitality of future urban
construction.
