WORLD FORUM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE AND INTANGIBLE

CULTURAL HERITAGE

On November 8, the World Forum for the Development of Traditional Chinese
Medicine and Intangible Cultural Heritage was held in Nantang Traditional Chinese
Medicine Characteristic Urban Block, Wenzhou. More than 100 guests, including
academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences, experts and scholars at home and
abroad, heads of relevant departments and industry associations, gathered via the
"Cloud" to discuss the protection, inheritance and innovative development of Chinese
medicine heritage by combining online and offline forms.

This forum served as a new platform for exchanges between Wenzhou and the
rest of the world, and fully highlighted the characteristics of high level, remarkable Time: November 8, 2021
internationalization and profound cultural heritage. Qi Wang, academician of Chinese Venue: Lecture Hall at Wenzhou
Academy of Sciences and the member of Academic Advisory Committee of Chinese Nantang Traditional Chinese
Academy of Medical Sciences; Dapeng Li, academician of Chinese Academy of
Medicine Characteristic Block
Sciences and professor of Zhejiang Chinese medical University; Chaofan Zhou, the
member of the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth CPPCC national Committee and
the member of the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth Chinese Pharmacopoeia
Commission, gave congratulations on the convening of this forum in different forms.
