钟南山指出，两年前，中国科学技术协会和浙江省人民政府共同创办了世界青年科学家
峰会这一盛会，为世界青年科学家搭建起一个交流合作的全新平台。这两年以来，峰会
秉承了习近平总书记 “ 开展科技人文交流 推动青年创新合作 ” 贺信精神，在世界各界的
共同努力下，取得了丰硕的成果。

钟院士相信世界青年科学家峰会将始终围绕全球共同关注的话题，围绕青年成长的需求，
围绕科技创新引领的主线，不断探索发展，不断总结创新，不断绽放光芒。

Nanshan Zhong pointed out that two years ago, the China Association for Science
and Technology and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province jointly founded
the World Young Scientist Summit, adding a new platform for exchange and
cooperation for the world's young scientists. Over the past two years, the summit has
adhered to the spirit of President Jinping Xi's congratulatory letter of "carrying out
scientific, technological and humanistic exchanges and promoting youth innovation
and cooperation", and achieved fruitful results with the joint efforts of all sectors of
the world.

Academician Zhong believes that WYSS will always focus on topics of worldwide
common concern, the needs of youth growth, as well as the main theme of scientific
and technological innovation, constantly explore and develop, constantly summarize
and innovate, and constantly shine.
