2022 峰会概况

INTRODUCTION

2022 世界青年科学家峰会（以下简称“青科会”）以“汇聚天下英才 共创美好未来”为主题，以“基

础科学促进可持续发展”为年度议题，聚焦生命科学、新能源、新材料、数字经济、智能计算、量
子科技、智能制造、生态环境等前沿科技创新领域，设置“盛会·共赏”“学术·共融”“对话·共
赢”“产业·共富”“智慧·共享”五大板块，联合国际科技组织、大学、研究院所共同举办高水平
科技人文与学术交流活动。
2022 青科会于 11月 12 日 -13 日在温州举行开幕式。全年共错峰举办 41 场活动，其中开幕式前

后举办 20 场重点活动，有来自 33 个国家和地区，102 个国际科技组织，共计 1300 余名科学家、
企业家、创投家参加。时任全国政协副主席、中国科协主席万钢，时任中国科协党组书记、分管日
常工作副主席、书记处第一书记张玉卓，时任浙江省委副书记黄建发，浙江省委常委、温州市委书

记刘小涛出席开幕式并致辞。
峰会期间，世界青年科学家峰会奖宣布设立，第十七届中国青年科技奖举行颁奖仪式，2022 大学
创业世界杯和 2022 中国眼谷眼视光创新创业全球挑战赛进入决赛圈，2022 青科会欧洲分会场
发布《联合行动倡议》，世界青年科学家联合会、世界青年科学家峰会期刊筹备工作取得重要进展。

The 2022 World Young Scientist Summit (WYSS 2022) was held under the theme of “Converging
the World’s Talents, Creating a Better Future” and the annual topic of “Basic Sciences for Sustainable
Development”. With a focus on life science, new energy, new materials, digital economy, intelligent
computing, quantum science and technology, intelligent manufacturing, ecological environment, cutting-
edge technological innovation, among other areas, WYSS 2022 was designed into five main parts,
namely “Grand Gathering · Appreciation”, “Academy · Integration”, “Dialogue · Win-win”, “Industry ·
Common Prosperity”, and “Wisdom· Sharing”. High-level technological, people-to-people and academic
exchange events were organized with international science and technology organizations, universities,
and research institutes.

The Opening Ceremony of WYSS 2022 was held in Wenzhou on November 12-13. Throughout the
year, 41 events were held, 20 of which were key events held before and after the Opening Ceremony.
More than 1,300 scientists, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists from 33 countries and regions and 102
international science and technology organizations participated in these events. Gang Wan, the then
Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC and President of China Association for Science
and Technology (CAST), Yuzhuo Zhang, the then Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group, Vice
President in Charge of Daily Works and First Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST, Jianfa Huang, the then
Deputy Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, and Xiaotao Liu, member of the Standing
Committee of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Wenzhou Municipal
Committee attended and addressed the Opening Ceremony.

On the sidelines of the Summit, the establishment of WYSS Award was announced; the Award Ceremony
for the 17th China Youth Science and Technology Award Ceremony was held; the 2022 University
Startup World Cup and the 2022 Ophthalmology & Optometry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Global
Challenge Competition, Eye Valley @China entered the final stage. The WYSS 2022 European Event
released the “Joint Action Initiative”. Significant progress was made in preparing the establishment of the
World Federation for Young Scientists (WFYS) and the WYSS Journal.
