The opening ceremony witnessed the establishment of the first academic committee
of Oujiang Laboratory, and the appointment of 14 experts as academic committee
members, which included Changsheng Liu, Xu Zhang, Lin Lu, Guoqiang Chen, Xiongli
Yang, Zhongcan Ouyang, Zihe Rao, Shumin Duan, Tao Xu, Xiaobing Fu and Xuekun
Li, academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Weihong Song, academician
of Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), David Witz, academician of the
National Academy of Sciences (NAS), the National Academy of Engineering, and
the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, as well as Jia Qu, director of Eye
Department, Wenzhou Medical University. In addition, Oujiang Laboratory also
successfully introduced 20 high-level talents into the workforce, and 10 academicians
and professors, including Fang Liu, member of the Canadian Institutes of Health
Research (CIHR), and Min Zhuo, member of the Academy of Science of the Royal
Society of Canada, signed contracts at the forum.
