On November 14, focusing on the theme of "Alzheimer's disease in the field of brain
health", 11 experts, including Yutian Wang, Keqiang Ye, Zhiying Wu, Xiulian Sun,
Jintai Yu, Junying Yuan, Qiang Liu, Michael Heneka, Kai Wang, Lingqiang Zhu ,
and Chenglong Xie, gave their wonderful presentations. Against the backdrop of an
increasing aging era, dementia caused by Alzheimer's disease and other problems
are continuously devouring the elderly population in China. At present, there are about
10 million Alzheimer's disease patients in China, and the number of them is expected
to exceed 40 million by 2050.

At the meeting, Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Alzheimer's Disease Research
was officially inaugurated as the only key laboratory focusing on Alzheimer's disease
research at the provincial and ministerial level in China.
