黄建发在致辞中提到，浙江始终深入贯彻习近平总书记致首届世界青年科学家峰会
贺信精神，以科技创新筑牢稳进提质大盘、加快动力变革速度、激活经济发展后劲、
拓展合作交流空间，科技创新驱动力越来越强 ；正努力打造新时代全面展示中国特
色社会主义制度优越性的重要窗口，扎实推进高质量发展，建设共同富裕示范区。

今后，浙江将聚焦“两个先行”，以超常规力度一体推进教育强省、科技强省、人才
强省建设，以更加开放的态度促进全球人才开放共享，加强国际科技交流，融入全
球创新网络，共同推进基础研究、推动科技成果转化，在服务国家参与全球科技之
旅上展现浙江担当。

Jianfa Huang mentioned in his speech that Zhejiang has always implemented the spirit of
General Secretary Xi Jinping’s congratulatory letter to the first WYSS to steadily consolidate
and advance high-quality development with scientific and technological innovation,
accelerate changes in the driving force, bolster the momentum for economic development,
broaden the space for cooperation and communication, and make the drivers for scientific
and technological innovation stronger and stronger. He also noted that Zhejiang is striving
to create an important window for fully demonstrating the superiority of the socialist
system with Chinese characteristics in the new era, making solid progress in high-quality
development, and building a demonstration area for common prosperity.

Going forward, Zhejiang will focus on “two priorities” (prioritizing common prosperity and
provincial modernization), and make extraordinary efforts to build a strong province in
education, science and technology, and human resources. Zhejiang will be more open
in promoting the opening up and sharing of global talents, strengthening international
scientific and technological exchanges, and integrating into the global innovation network
to jointly advance basic research, facilitate the transformation of scientific and technological
achievements, and shoulder its responsibility for serving China’s participation in global
science and technology governance.
